It is a perfect accompaniment to virtually whatever hearty meat dish.
Marinated Red Cabbage Slaw amongst Pine Nuts together with Leek
adapted from
Taste - 1/2 Small ruby-red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 Red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Pomegranate seeds
- 1 Small leek, chopped
- 80 g Dried cranberries
- 1 tbsp Coconut saccharide
- 60 ml Balsamic vinegar
- 60 ml Extra virgin olive crude
- 40 g Pine nuts, toasted

- Combine cabbage, onion, pomegranate seeds, leek, cranberries, kokosnoot sugar, balsamic vinegar together with olive crude inward a bowl. Cover together with chill for three hours or overnight to marinate.
- When laid upwards to serve, add together inward toasted pino nuts. Season together with toss to combine.
